SF to LA, 1902
I have no idea when this was taken, who it is, the location, or the photographer.
Here are Big Blue and The Lads looking purposeful at the graveyard.
This was a very nice day for us. It may snow tomorrow and put a crimp in our cycling, but it will be cool to have some winter weather.
Apparently, I'm a sartorial man, now.
Huh. Glad I stuck with it for so long.

So how's the lone cog handle the trailering? Gears on the roadbike now but maybe not forever (too much fiddling).
Don't Go Changing
Running a 36/18 is the worst of both worlds.
Though, by the time track season starts, I'm gonna have tree trunks and a wicked spin.
Trailers are GO!
The photo is French cyclotourist Paulette Callet/Porthault climbing the Galibier in the 1930s. She is still alive and riding up to 40km a day. She last climbed the Galibier when she was 75 years old. In her day she could kick your ass.
Ain't the internet wonderful?
I enjoy your blog. Visit me at 1410 Oakwood sometime. I hope next year is good for you. Be well.
